Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation sometimes. She was hired by ESPN in 2016. Her mother is the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was a bilingual since she was nine years old. It was a helpful skill that helped her secure her first position as a production assistant at Univision in Miami that gave her an opportunity to work with producers of national television shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Following this she was hired by she was hired by the CBS subsidiary that is located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. The year 2009 saw her move from Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as a news reporter for The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She reported on stories related to the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs throughout Texas as well as Mexico. She also filled in for weather and sports anchors. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's station affiliated with Dallas. The station was more responsibility. The pieces she produced were on Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. They moved at some point to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November of 1985. Her older sister is also hers. Her family relocated into Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. The couple divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995 she tied the knot with a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. It was during a time of summer when she was with her sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl got an employment. Still a senior at high school, but having an idea of about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta went to the University of Mount Union to see if it would meet her requirements. The result was that she was a fan of the university and they were offering the major she was looking for. After graduating from school, she was enrolled at the college with a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU where she is a member. They had a very close relationship. Professor Mark Bergmann influenced her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
